Kinesiology Foundation Course​

The Kinesiology Foundation Course is made up of six modules. Each module is taught over a full weekend, and the whole course takes place over a period of eight months, one weekend every six weeks, giving students plenty of time to assimilate the information and complete the homework and cases studies. The course is fully certified, authenticated and approved by the Kinesiology Association.

The course is open to all beginners, there is no prerequisite training needed. It is designed to give you a progressive introduction to Kinesiology, whatever your prior knowledge. The Foundation teaching provides safe and powerful techniques that you will be able to incorporate into your life the next day.

What you'll learn

 

As well as teaching you how to confidently and accurately muscle test and balance 44 muscles of the body, you will gain a rich, fascinating and effective toolkit. Here's just some of what the course covers:​

• The core principles of the traditional Chinese five elements, the meridian system, and how it all relates to the organs of the body and emotions

• The language of muscle testing, and how to test accurately 

• Several emotional release techniques

• How to clear lymphatic congestion using massage

• How to identify congested or sluggish energy in the body

• Techniques to encourage stuck energy to flow, balance over energy and associated problems 

• The relationship between nutrition and certain issues

• Muscle testing for identifying and correcting nutritional deficiencies

• Muscle testing for food sensitivities, dehydration, protein and mineral deficiencies

• Techniques for enhancing learning and comprehension

• How to use a surrogate for muscle testing for the young, elderly, wheel chair users and animals amongst others

Your certification

 

The Foundation certification is a prerequisite for any student wishing to advance to the Practitioner course. If you are already a qualified therapist, this certificate enables you to become insured so you can use Kinesiology to enhance your existing practice, and charge for your services. It is also ideal if you are interested in health and wellbeing and would like to benefit from Kinesiology for yourself and the wellbeing of your friends and family.
 

Your Foundation certificate will be issued after all six modules have been attended, and once all homework is completed and all  case studies have been completed. There will also be a multiple choice exam and a practical assessment. Students are provided with a manuals and nutrition test kits. Exam and assessment is included in the price of the course.
